Stan brings native app to Windows 10 and Windows Mobile with Cortana integration

While you've always been able to watch Stan through a web browser on a PC, the Australian streaming service now has a native app available as a free download through the Windows Store. Notably, the app is what Microsoft refers to as "universal", meaning it can be run on Windows 10 tablets, desktops, and (most importantly) smartphones.

Streaming Stan through a web browser is easy enough, but the native Windows 10 app does however have a few neat features that may make it worth an install. In addition to full touchscreen support for tablet and two-in-one owners, Stan is one of the very first third party apps to hook in with Cortana. By saying a phrase such as "Hey Cortana, Stan search 'Unreal'", Cortana will return search results from Stan right within the start menu. Clicking the item will open the Stan app at the title's page.

A Stan app is also available on Xbox One.

Stan for Windows 10 and Windows Mobile is available through the Windows Store. Users will require a Microsoft Account to download the app.
