A couple of weeks ago, Samsung released the much awaited Android 4.3 update for one the company’s past flagship models – the Galaxy SIII. The update was designed to bring in new features to the SIII that are currently on the S4 including the added support for the Galaxy Gear.

Unfortunately, a number of users have reported that their handset has encountered a number of problems since the update. To be specific, there were reports saying that the update caused their phone to become unresponsive on different occasions, crashing and being incapable of proper multi-tasking due to poor ROM manager.

There were also reports on music playback stuttering as well as faster than average battery drain. These are the reasons why Samsung (at least its UK wing) has suspended the rollout of the update today.

According to the official statement of Samsung UK, they are currently investigating the reported issues associated with the Galaxy SIII 4.3 Jelly Bean update and are currently working on a fix.
