Samsung today announced another addition to its fast growing Galaxy Tab line – the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0.

The tablet features a 7.0-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage (with option for expansion via a microSD card), a 2MP front-facing camera and a 3000mAh battery.

In terms of connectivity, the Tab 3 Lite will also come with 3G – HSPA+ (for 3G+Wi-Fi model only), Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.0, USB 2.0 and GPS + GLONASS. Samsung has also added a copy of Polaris office on the tablet as well as Dropbox out of the box.

There’s no specific information on pricing yet, but a Polish site is already offering the Tab 3.0 Lite 7.0 on sale for around $US260. International shipping dates are also not confirmed yet, but we’ll update our blog and let you know the full details once more info comes through.
