Samsung today announced the fourth generation of its highly successful line of Galaxy tablets. The range consists of three models – the Tab 4 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1.

As you might have guessed, the name of each tablet corresponds to the sizes of their screen.

All models pack a 720p resolution display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and features 1.5GB of RAM and either 8GB or 16GB of expandable internal memory (for the 8- and 10.1-inch versions). The tablets also come with a 3MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. The Galaxy Tabs run on Android 4.4 KitKat and will be offered in 3G/LTE and Wi-Fi only versions.

In terms of battery, the 7- and 8-inch version will have a 4450mAh battery while the larger 10.1-inch version will have a 6800mAh battery unit. All three models will be available within Q2 of this year with pricing information to be announced at a later date.
