Samsung Announce Galaxy Tab S

Samsung this morning announced the latest addition to its tablet range, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S. The Galaxy Tab S will be available in both 10.5" and 8.4" inch models, in both WiFi only and 4G configurations. Samsung claim the tablets' 2560×1600 panels are the best "16:10 WQXGA Super AMOLED display" available on the makrket. In English, this means the tablet will offer a wider colour range and deeper contrast.

Other notable features are "SideSync 3.0", which enables users to forward calls from their Galaxy S6 to the Tab S, and 11 hours of battery during  high definition video playback. Samsung also announced partnerships with Conde Naste (publisher of Vogue, Glamour, GQ and Vanity Fair) and Marvel. Galaxy Tab S users will be entitled to free issues of select Conde Naste publications, and 3 months unlimited access to Marvel's comic book application.

The 8.4" model is expected to start at  USD$399, and the 10.5" at $499. The Galaxy Tab S will be available in select markets from July.
