If you’re a fan of wearable tech and at the same time a huge supporter of Razer products, then you’ll definitely like what the US gaming company has announced just a few hours ago.

Starting today, the company will be opening a hardware beta program that will test the Nabu smartband that it introduced early this year at CES. Razer will be choosing 500 people to participate in the program, all of which will be given the opportunity to purchase the Nabu for just AU$1.

Razer is keeping the beta program relatively small as the company says they only want the most “hardcore fans” of its brand to participate in the testing of the Nabu. Those who will be selected will need to send hardware and software feedback to Razer’s engineering team once they receive the device on July.

The company also suggested that they will give priority to applicants who are active on Razer’s social channels such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. Moreover, the company also announced that it has started shipping the developer edition of the Nabu smartband to programmers who signed up back in January for the $50 version of the Nabu.

If you’re interested in joining the program, you can sign up using this link. Do note that the device will be shipped to select Razer Store locations only and that additional shipping charges may apply.
