The snow white version of Android-based console Ouya may be an American exclusive, but the company is also providing its international consumers a few treats this coming holiday season.

Today, the company pushed an update to Ouya that provides the console with a new user interface plus several other changes as a result of various requests from users.

The update, which is dubbed as the “Abominable Snowman” is said to be the biggest update to the console since its launch. It brings a new and improved UI that is more intuitive and more visually appealing that enables developers to more effectively feature their games.

Users will also be able to make use of external storage options for their games. Other notable features of the Abominable Snowman update include added support for incremental updates that ensures future updates can arrive more frequently. The Ouya button on the controller has also been remapped and will now call up the system menu instead of automatically exiting a game or app.

Developers can also now create links that will allow users to download games to their device from the web. These links can be placed on any webpage as well on the Ouya.tv site.

A number of bugs have also been fixed by the update including the issue where users could not access the internet because the system clock had reset, causing certificate problems as well as the issues where the download button doesn’t always display the correct text as well as the issue where holding the analog stick to the side doesn’t auto-scroll.
