Optus has launched its new range of fixed broadband bundles that include what is claimed to be truly unlimited options without hidden fees, catches or restrictive terms, says the company.

Titled My Home and My Office, these bundles that offer calls and internet with the option to add extra speed, entertainment or call inclusions to suit a customer’s needs.

“Our customers told us they were sick of rules, hidden fees, lock-in contracts and a lack of choice in broadband,” says Martin Mercer, Managing Director, Fixed for Optus. “These Optus My Home bundles and My Office bundle plans show we’ve listened and will now give customers the freedom to choose unlimited broadband bundles…”

Here’s what Optus has eliminated from its bundles

  • Inflexible contracts – customers can now choose either a 24 month contract or g month-to-month for just $10 extra per month
  • Upfront fees and sneaky charges for your modem, delivery or connection
  • Moving connection fees – it won’t charge you to disconnect and re-connect your broadband when you move house or office (43 per cent of Australians moved at least once in the past five years)
  • Fees for moving up or down between plans whether you are on contract or not.

Options available are:

  • My Home or My Office – Phone and Broadband Bundles – perfect for Aussie families or small businesses who just want the security of knowing exactly what’s included in their bundles for phone and Internet.
  • My Home Entertainment Bundles – ideal for customers who want access to the latest release movies, kids entertainment and extra TV channels without the price tag.

Optus has also launched a new range of Entertainment Bundles through Optus TV with Fetch, for the first time offering all 25 Entertainment channels in select bundles. Plus there are some new channels such as Disney and Disney Junior along with the best of ABC4KIDS via ABC iView.

Existing customers set top boxes will be upgraded with the same great software so they too will have the improved experience.
