So Motorola is hosting a competition for its Moto 360 smartwatch asking designers in the US, Canada and UK to submit watch face designs for their Android Wear-powered product. The winner will get to take home the Moto 360 watch itself which is reportedly valued at US$249.

As with most competitions, the contest’s terms and conditions need to comply with a few legal requirements which include the discloser of the prize’s value. And according to the Prizes section of the official competition document, the grand prize winner will receive a Moto 360 with approximate retail value of $249 (with an added disclaimer that the actual SRP might be substantially different at launch).

The Moto 360 was previously rumoured to have a price tag close the $340 when a French website cited that the watch will be priced at €249. If Motorola’s definition of “substantially different” is just a few dollars, this will truly make the Moto 360 an attractive smartwatch option.
