Microsoft updates Surface Pro 3 stylus with new user options

Microsoft launched Surface Hub over the weekend, a new app for the Surface Pro 3 that gives users greater stylus customisation options. While fairly basic, the app provides users limited sensitivity control and the ability to reconfigure the stylus' top button.

Users are now able to choose whether the top button opens the tablet or desktop version of OneNote, but it can't be used to open any other applications. Pressure sensitivity controls can be used to increase the sensitivity and make the pen more responsive, but it can't be lowered by much.

At present, there is no option to customise the pen's side buttons.

Surface Hub is available as a free download from the Windows Store.
