Jawbone announces two new fitness trackers, UP3 and Up Move
Jawbone yesterday announced two next fitness trackers, the high-end Jawbone UP3, and entry-level Jawbone UP Move.
The UP3 is Jawbone's latest wrist-worn activity tracker, and is described as the company's most advanced product yet. In addition to the typical sensors used to detect movement and sleep, the UP3 can also measure ambient temperature and biompedence, which can be used to determine a user's heart rate and hydration levels.
Jawbone will be launching a new UP app for iOS alongside the UP3, with a new feature known as Smart Coach. Smart Coach will provide users with personalised guidance and challenges based on the information captured by the UP3. An Android compatible app will be available early next year.
