iPhone Accessory For Cars

Parrott has released an iPhone accessory specifically designed for the car market

Parrott MKi 9200 car accessory features a 2.4-inch screen ze, supported memory media and wireless technology, which is designed so the iPhone can become an integral part of your in-car set up.

As well as providing hands-free calling via your car’s speakers, it also connects to a range of music devices, including iPods, iPhones, USB keys, MP3 players, A2DP Bluetooth devices and anything featuring a standard line-in jack.

It comprises five main components, including an amplifier that is installed inside your dashboard, an external duel microphone, a colour display, and an iPod USB/line-in cable and a wireless remote control.

When it comes to playing music, the MKi9200 built-in digital amplifier transforms your vehicle into a concert arena, claims Parrott.

The voice recognition process recognises the name you are saying without any prior teaching process.

The unit needs to be installed by a professional, which takes around an hour and a half. The installation is screw and hole free, which gives you the flexibility to remove it if necessary.

To bring the MKi9200 up to speed, you need to attach your Bluetooth phone to the unit and it will automatically connect as soon as you’ve hit the power button. Once connected, the LCD screen will display your phone’s network and a reception bar indicator.
