Experiencing poor battery performance on your iPhone 5? There's a small chance you might be eligible for a new battery.
Apple has launched a battery replacement program for some iPhone 5 devices sold between September 2012 and January 2013. Apple said that affected devices "may suddenly experience shorter battery life or need to be charged more frequently".
These devices fall within a limited serial number range. Apple has released an online tool for checking if an iPhone 5 is eligible for replacement.
The battery replacement service will be available in Australia from August 29.
