Replacing the outgoing Ascend P6, this new smartphone features a slightly larger 5-inch Full HD display and is powered by the company’s own HiSilicon Krin 910T chipset with a 1.8GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a Mali 450 GPU and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card.

Other notable features of the Ascend P7 include a 2500mAh battery, LTE, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, microUSB and NFC. At the software front, the handset runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with the company’s Emotion UI on top.

The Huawei Ascend P7 will be available starting in May in black, white or pink colour options. The phone will retail for around $668 and will initially hit the UK, China, Germany, , Norway, Denmark, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Saudi Arabia and UAE among others.
