Hands on with the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua and Xperia Z4 Tablet

Sony last night introduced the Xperia M4 Aqua, a brand a new midrange smartphone, and the Xperia Z4 Tablet, a 10-inch Android-powered tablet. This morning, I had the opportunity to go hands on with both.

The Xperia M4 Aqua, as the name might suggest, is a waterproof Android-powered smartphone; the first Sony smartphone to run Lollipop out of the box. Impressively, the M4 Aqua is almost a dead ringer for the Xperia Z3, Sony's latest flagship. Despite being billed as midrange product, the M4 Aqua's front and back are both covered by glass. The only immediately noticeable difference is that the M4 Aqua sides are plastic, as opposed to the Xperia Z3's metal finish. However, when compared directly to the Z3, the M4 Aqua's buttons don't feel quite as firm.
