Gigabyte may not be that popular as a brand here in Australia but this company has quite a history when it comes to building PCs and its components. Today, this company showcased its years of experience by announcing the Aorus gaming laptop.

But with competition coming from bigger brands such as Razer and Alienware, the Aorus needs to pack some extra punch to get consumers’ attention. Fortunately, Gigabyte has given the Aorus not one but two GPUs.

The laptop is equipped with two Nvidia GTX 765M chips in an SLI configuration. The body of the laptop is fashioned from aluminium with cuts, vents and edges that would appeal more to gamers than ordinary laptop users. The internals of the Aorus consists of an Intel Core i7-4700HQ CPU, up to 32GB of RAM and 500GB mSATA SSD and up to 1TB if using a 2.5-inch HDD.

Those interested with the 17.3-inch Aorus will need to cash out at the very least US$2,099 for the basic configuration. The laptop is expected to reach retail stores this coming March.
