Today, Facebook announced that it will begin testing its mobile ad platform with select advertisers and partners.

On the plus side, Facebook said that the platform would be pushing ads on mobile apps rather than pushing them on users’ timelines – at least at the moment. Moreover, the platform will be using the social network’s rich targeting in order to make ads relevant to the people who will see them.
