People can keep an eye on who is coming and going from their business or home with a new digital wireless and portable home video intercom system.

Uniden’s new plug-and-play DoorGuard UWG400 features ‘Snapshot’ to capture stills of visitors who ring the doorbell.  The Snapshot mode keeps track of any or missed guests – such as couriers or tradespeople. Users can record up to 50 photos of visitors at the door which can be saved, viewed and then discarded as necessary from the receiver.

This digital system includes an intercom panel with a built-in camera and a receiver with 2.4-inch colour display for two-way communication with visitors at the door or reception area. It enables lder and less mobile residents to talk and view securely from inside the home.

Its Night Vision feature help users clearly identify and increase safety precautions in case of unexpected visitors at night.

The intuitive DoorGuard UWG400’s set up is plug-and-play. The battery-operated intercom panel means the system can be transferred if the user moves locations and mounted to any wall without no need for professional installation.
