According to the last rumours we’ve heard, the Galaxy S4 successor may be announced as early as January 2014. And even though we’re still a few weeks away from end of the year, more rumours are piling up with regards to the Galaxy S5.

A few weeks ago, there were reports that Samsung is planning to utilise a full metal body for the S5. In fact according to the Japanese-website EMSOne, Samsung has already chosen three suppliers that are tasked to make between 10-30 million unibody metal shells for the next high-grade Galaxy smartphone.

Moreover, a mystery Samsung device has also popped up on GFX Bench. Based on the results of the test, the said device, with model number SM-G900S will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with Adreno 330 GPU with a CPU clocked at 2.46GHz. The device also has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 or 2K on a 5- or 5.2-inch screen.

Other rumours include a 16MP camera with ISOCELL technology, probably without OIS. However, as these are still just rumours, we recommend taking this news with a grain of salt. Nonetheless, if any of these rumours are true, the Galaxy S5 is certainly a force to reckon with.
