The latest iPhone 6 leaks suggest that both the rumoured 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models will ship with higher capacity batteries than the iPhone 5s.

French publication, Nowhere Else, has obtained production line photos of what appears to be the 4.7-inch model's battery. These photos suggest the device will use a 1,810 mAh battery, 16% larger than the iPhone 5s' 1,560 mAh battery.

Photos published by Chinese site, Apple Daily, allege that the 5.5-inch iPhone model could have a capacity of 2,915 mAh. This would give the device comparable to the Samsung Galaxy S5 and LG G3, which ship with 2,915 mAh and 3000 mAh batteries respectively.

While it is difficult to confirm the authenticity of these photos, the batteries display similar markings to other Apple batteries.

Apple is expected to announce both the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 models on September 9.
