Today, BlackBerry rolled out an update to its handsets running on BlackBerry OS 10 that brings into the plate the much-awaited “Channels” feature.

BBM Channels acts similar to other feed-based apps by aggregating updates from your friends or from major content providers. Users can customise the type of content that will appear on their feeds by using the BBM Channels Manager website.

Unfortunately, the feature isn’t available yet to users of BBM for Android and iOS, but they can already get started with setting up their feeds on the website if they have a confirmed BlackBerry ID email address. The company says the feature will be available on both iOS and Android in the “coming months”.
