Australian Review: iPhone 6 Plus – Monolith

Final Thoughts
The iPhone 6 Plus isn't ground breaking, but it’s a great phone that achieves more than just being "the next in line" and has plenty of small features that make the overall experience fantastic. For the most part, I'm happy to sacrifice the ability to use my phone one handed for increased productivity the iPhone 6 Plus offers. It speeds up typing, web browsing is better, taking photos is easier and it's battery life lasts more than a day. It's certainly my favourite of the two new iPhone models, and a solid piece of hardware that's up there with the best Android and Windows Phones.

My only real issue with the iPhone 6 Plus is that it just doesn't look as sleek as previous iPhone models, or even the iPhone 6. While previous iPhones, especially the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 have been renown for their striking industrial design, the iPhone 6 Plus is merely "above average" and a little out of proportion.

If you were someone who loved the iPhone because it was a one-handed device, the iPhone 6 Plus probably isn't for you. But if you're someone who wants to get more out of your phone will retaining Apple's fantastic ecosystem, the iPhone 6 Plus is definitely worth a look.

The iPhone 6 Plus isn't perfect, and it isn't for everyone, but it is certainly the best iPhone available.
