Australian Review: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – That time of year

Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, Advanced Warfare still feels like Call of Duty, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Gunplay is still satisfying, single player is a bombastic summer blockbuster, and multiplayer has enough hooks to keep you coming back. If you've never been a fan of Call of Duty, Advanced Warfare won't change your mind; it's Call of Duty with Kevin Spacey and mechs.

But if you've enjoyed Call of Duty in the past, Advanced Warfare is worth a purchase. It has enough new ideas to feel different, but it never loses the Call of Duty feeling.
