Remember the Asus Tranformer Book Trio that was launched last year at Computex? Well it now has a smaller brother which goes by the name of Transformer Book Duet.

The Transformer Book Duet was unveiled just a few hours ago at CES and it’s basically a trimmed down version of the Trio, with the device doing away with the extra CPU on its bigger brother. The device features a 13.3-inch display bundled with a keyboard dock with its own hard drive and ports.

Just like the Transformerbook Trio, the Duet boots both Windows and Android operating systems. The convertible switches between the two operating systems via a shortcut pinned on the bottom of the screen.

The convertible boasts an Intel Haswell processor, a 128GB solid state drive (installed on the display unit), up to 1TB disk drive (installed on the keyboard dock), a 1080p display and several ports (including USB, Ethernet and HDMI).

Asus is marketing the Transformerbook Duet as a 4-in-1 device, as it can be transformed into a dual-boot laptop and tablet. The Duet will be available in Q2 2014 starting at $599.
