Apple is suing Taiwan-based smartphone maker HTC over alleged patent infringements.
iPhone manufacturer Apple has filed lawsuits with the United States International Trade Commision against Taiwan-based smartphone manufacturer HTC, alleging patent infringements on its handsets.
This comes on the back of Nokia suing Apple
over similar allegations in September 2009, which is of no surprise in that vendors are trying to bring the same features to their handsets that rivals already have.
In this case, it appears Apple has problems with HTC’s touchscreen, power conservation and some aspects of its graphics on the latter’s units.
The suit is trying to get an injunction against HTC to stop it from selling , making, offering or using certain patents that Apple claims are its ow
