Android 4.3 Update For Galaxy SIII Now Seeding

One of the perks of owning a flagship device is that manufacturers tend to provide support the handset for a longer period of time compared to other models in its line-up. Samsung’s Galaxy SIII is one of the best examples of this trend. Samsung is now pushing the Android 4.3 update to its former flagship device, which brings many of the features and design elements from the Galaxy S4.

Samsung is now pushing the Android 4.3 update to its former flagship device, which brings many of the features and design elements from the Galaxy S4. For starters, this include support for the Galaxy Gear, TRIM support (faster UI), ANT+ support and some of the core UI elements in the newest version of TouchWiz.

A number of new apps and features will also come with the update such as the new Samsung keyboard, new lockscreen, new display modes (adapt display and professional photo), daydream, driving mode, actionable notifications ,Move2SD functionality, Sound and Shot camera feature, tabbed settings UI, implementation of voice controls, full screen Samsung apps and the new S-Voice.

The update is now rolling out to Vodafone users in Ireland with other markets to follow shortly. The update will be available via OTA interface and Samsung Kies tool.
