Adobe brings Photoshop to Chromebook

Google, in partnership with Adobe, today announced that a streaming version of Photoshop will be available for Chromebook users.

Photoshop for Chromebook is almost identical to the software's current version with a few exceptions. Since it exists in the cloud, users can only save and access files from their Google Drive. At present, users are unable to access graphics card dependent features (such as canvas rotation, 3d overlays and zoom enhancements) and printing.

Initially, Photoshop for Chromebook will only be available to US-based education customers with a paid Creative Cloud subscription. Neither Google nor Adobe have announced when Photoshop for Chromebook will receive wider availability.
